Our orchards are located next to Table Mountain in Oroville. This volcanically enriched soil, combined with the Northern California climate, has produced strong, healthy, Mission olive trees. Even after a century of harvests these trees are still producing award-winning olive oil that has a remarkable buttery and smooth taste, making it an excellent oil to cook with and easily infuse with flavors, such as lemon, jalapeño, garlic and blood orange.
Three generations of the Bamford family are proud to produce our award-winning, California Olive Oil Council certified extra virgin olive oil in the scenic agricultural heartland of northern California. The Mission olive trees that we tend are descended from Old World stock that were brought by Franciscan missionaries. These trees have been nourished by Table Mountain's mineral-rich and volcanic soils, abundant sun, and ephemeral streams.
