This delicious, organic olive oil consists of three varieties: Moriolo, Leccino and Frantoio. and is known for its healthy and strikingly tasteful olive oil. The olives are hand-picked and pressed in the traditional way within 24 hours after harvest. The result is a top-quality, fair-produced extra virgin olive oil. The extra virgin label is due to an acidity and purity that is up to three times lower than the quota imposed.
What started as a hobby, became a passion. Casa Astrid was initially a holiday home in the mountains surrounding the city of Assisi in Umbria Italy. Years ago with the help of locals we, as Belgians, learned to appreciate real extra virgin olive oil. The old olive grove on the estate was revived and after some years the excellent production exceeded the demand of our friends. We created Casa Astrid to share the taste of this beautiful product.
