Juno Olives is family owned and run by Karen and Ian Juno. The grove of almost 2,000 trees is located on the outskirts of Greytown, a picturesque village located in Wairarapa, which is one of the four main olive growing regions in New Zealand. Juno Olives has been a consistent top winner in the New Zealand Extra Virgin Olive Oil Awards since 2008 and also a previous Gold winner in the prestigious New York International Olive Oil Competition.
Olives New Zealand has more than 200 members, representing the majority of commercial olive groves and most of the smaller groves in New Zealand. Our growers vary in size from hobby groves of less than 100 trees to the commercial groves of 40,000 trees. Olives New Zealand sets and maintains quality standards for New Zealand-produced olive products, provides quality research and development and facilitates progressive direction for stakeholders in the olive industry.
