Lapas Organic
This mild, delicate oil is made up solely of Koroneiki olives hand-harvested from organic farms in the south of Greece. Known as the “queen of olives,” the Koroneiki variety is recognized worldwide as one of the most sought after for oil production. Herbaceous with notes of green apple and hazelnut, this special oil is ideal for drizzling over fish, poultry or vegetables and is delicious in dips and dressings.
Where to Find Appreciation for man and nature has always been the basis of all economic activity for the Bläuel family. Fritz and Burgi Bläuel came to Mani in the late 1970s in search of an alternative way of life. They soon built an organic agriculture project with the local olive farmers and oil millers. With entrepreneurial vision, respect for the cultural landscape, they managed to unite the farmers. The fruit of this cooperation was Greece’s first organic certified olive oil and is exported worldwide.
