Laurenta Oblica is monovarietal extra virgin olive oil. It is characterized by intensive pungency and medium bitterness. The smell of freshly cut green grass is beautifully accompanied by the aromas of green almonds. It complements fresh and cooked vegetables, green and tomato salad and red meat.
My family has been producing olive oil for generations. We currently have 650 olive trees of mostly indigenous varieties, the most common of which is Oblica. However, we also grow Lastovka, Krvavica and Šoltanka olives. Given the location, microclimate and rocky soil, our oils have a pronounced bitterness, intense spiciness and aromas of green olives, almonds and green tomatoes.
