Loopline Olives is located in the Wairarapa, one of the four main olive growing regions in New Zealand. Owned by Mark and Kate Bunny, it was established on the original historic family farm and is a medium-sized grove of approximately 900 trees, which was established in 2001. Loopline Olives has won Best in Show at the New Zealand Extra Virgin Olive Oil Awards in 2018, 2017 and 2014, as well as taking other awards too.
Olives New Zealand has more than 200 members, representing the majority of commercial olive groves and most of the smaller groves in New Zealand. Our growers vary in size from hobby groves of less than 100 trees to the commercial groves of 40,000 trees. Olives New Zealand sets and maintains quality standards for New Zealand-produced olive products, provides quality research and development and facilitates progressive direction for stakeholders in the olive industry.
