Ushimado Superior extra virgin olive oil is made from carefully selected and milled Lucca, Nevadillo blanco, Manzanillo and Arbequina olives in the hills of Ushimado, Japan.
Waichiro Hattori planted olives on April 19, 1942, after cultivating the hills of Ushimado. He said that olives are useful as food, medicine and lamp fuel. He established the Nippon Olive Co. on June 1, 1949, and released his first product: olive manon virgin oil (now olive manon olive oil for cosmetics). Currently, we sell more than 80 different food and cosmetic products and are selling at events and through mail-order, mainly at Ushimado Olive Garden.
