Vis is Latin for strength. This olive oil, made of our most striking variety Bianchera, has an intense taste and a slightly pungent touch. This autochthonous cultivar, appreciated since Ancient Roman times, owes its organoleptic features to our unique climate. Our olive groves are located in the coastal city of Trieste, Italy, among the most northern areas where the olive tree is traditionally present, withstanding cold winters and strong winds.
We are two siblings, brother and sister, who took over our family business at the age of 21 and 25, after our dad passed away. Although we had already chosen different paths, we decided to come back and learn as much as possible, to be able to make a high quality olive oil. Since we are small producers, we choose quality over quantity. Limited production allows us to take good care of every single plant. We personally follow cultivation, production and bottling, all the way to label design.
