The Chania-based producer earned its ninth World Competition accolade for its Monovarietal Mountain Bio brand, an organic medium Tsounati.
"It's an amazing feeling every year to wait in front of the screen to see the result," chief executive Eftychios Androulakis said.
"When you see your brand awarded at the biggest and most prestigious international competition, it gives you more strength to improve further in the years to come," he added. "As a producer, the feelings of a NYIOOC award can't be fully described."
In the 2023/24 crop year, Pamako produced 10,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil using traditional methods.
Androulakis said low fruitset and pervasive olive fruit fly infestations were the biggest challenges he faced. He attributed his continued success at the World Competition to the company's state-of-the-art mill.
