Napa Valley’s Marciano Estate Winery Triumphs at 2024 NYIOOC

California-based Marciano Estate Winery has won two Gold Awards at the 2024 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's largest olive oil quality contest.

Situated in Napa Valley, the producer earned the awards for its medium-intensity Marciano Estate Organic Italian Blend and Massiglia brand, an organic medium Arbequina.

"Winning these awards gives us more confidence that we are doing the right thing," olive consultant Milagros Castro said.

In the 2023/24 crop year, Marciano Estate Winery produced 1,500 liters of extra virgin olive oil using traditional methods.

"We can't complain about this harvest; instead, it was very good," Castro said. "Our oils this year have high numbers of polyphenols."
