Francesco Maselli was an olive grower and presser from Acquaviva delle Fonti, a lovely town in the Murgia Hills around Bari. His daughter, Maria Antonietta, a chemist, inherited his passion for growing olives. Despite the period of deep crisis, she decided to take on, improve and innovate the family business, invest in the cultivation of olive trees and combine the centuries-old techniques with innovative management models.
This prestigious award will push us to continue in our project of recovery and enhancement of our olive growing by combining tradition and innovation!
