Olivicola Cassetta Ortice
This organic extra virgin olive oil is obtained from milling green Ortice olives. The herbaceous green olive fruitiness is intense and elegant with notes of tomato, almond and artichoke. The oil is balanced on the palate with medium-high bitterness, spicy tones and a marked aftertaste of wild herbs (thistle and chicory). It is ideal on green and Caprese salads, barley and legume soup, red meats and fresh cheeses.
Where to Find The company was founded in 1929 and covers a total of 15 hectares. Since 2004, our olive groves have been managed by adopting the cultivation technique with the organic method, which involves using only products of natural origin and the absolute prohibition of using pesticides and chemical fertilizers. IThenatural fertility of the soil is exploited by using limited interventions to promote biodiversity and excluding the use of synthetic products and GMOs.
