Situated in Puglia, Italy's most prolific olive oil-producing region, the company earned its sixth straight NYIOOC Gold for its flagship medium-intensity Coratina.
"Winning this award is an important achievement for us, which testifies to the hard work in the field with so much passion," owner Maria Bisceglie said.
In the 2023/24 crop year, GangaLupo produced 15,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil from the endemic Coratina variety using solely traditional methods.
However, the harvest did not come without its difficulties. "One of the most arduous challenges was dealing with the drought," Bisceglie confirmed.
