The family company, situated in southern Istria, earned the World Competition award for its Bodis brand, an organic medium-intensity blend.
"Like every year, we are very happy to receive recognition for our efforts and the quality of our oil," said owner Nikola Bodis. Bodis previously earned Gold Awards in 2019, 2020, 2022 and 2023.
Magran produces organic extra virgin olive oil from 4,500 Leccino and Pendolino olive trees. Similarly to many producers, Bodis said the rain created significant challenges during the 2023/24 crop year.
