It’s always an honor to be awarded and recognized for the hard work our team puts in every year to make an oil we and the rest of the world are proud of.

The California producer earned awards at the world's most prestigious olive oil quality contest for its Nuvo Early Harvest, a delicate Mission, and its medium-intensity Nuvo Taggiasca.
"It’s always an honor to be awarded and recognized for the hard work our team puts in every year to make an oil we and the rest of the world are proud of," said co-owner Joshua Mardigian.
In the 2023/24 crop year, Nuvo Olive Oil produced 40,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil using traditional methods.
"Every harvest poses its own challenges, and this year was no different," Mardigian said. "The olives ripened later, and we always have to contend with the first set of frost, which occurs sooner than other places within the same region."
