Tiger Power has won two Silver Awards at the 2024 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's largest olive oil quality contest.
I’m happy with these results and committed to getting even better results next year.
Tiger Kong, CEO
The Tunisian producer, which imports its products to Cambodia, earned the World Competition awards for its 1629 brand, a delicate Chetoui and 1629 Organic brand, an organic delicate Chemlali.
"I’m happy with these results and committed to getting even better results next year," said Tiger Kong, the company's chief executive. Since 2022, Tiger Power has earned six NYIOOC accolades.
Kong said the lack of rain in Tunisia this year, which he attributed to the impacts of climate change, was the main challenge his team had to overcome to produce award-winning extra virgin olive oil.
