Chiaroscuro is a robust Coratina monocultivar from the de Robertis Estate in Apulia, Italy, which lies on the Adriatic coast. Our Chiaroscuro Coratina EVOO is wide and embracing with an intense and robust green fruitiness, hints of artichoke leaf and an elegant spiciness. Harvested in late November and milled within 12 hours, our EVOO has a high content of polyphenols, allowing for a long shelf life.
The de Robertis Estate prides itself in producing a high quality EVOO of the Coratina cultivar. Our olives are grown on our family estate of 74 acres and are cold pressed within 12 to 24 hours in order to retain their unique flavor, aroma and high level of polyphenols. We are located just minutes from Trani, a historic town on the Adriatic coast of the Apulia, in the heart of the Coratina cultivation region.
