The olives that make up this organic blend come from the Fontanaro Estate in Italy and were hand picked and processed within three hours of harvest at our own technologically advanced mill. Our groves are spread out over rolling hills that overlook Trasimeno Lake.
Fontanaro organic extra virgin olive oil is a blend of five different varieties of olives: Leccino, Frantoio, Dolce Agogia, Moraiolo and Pendolino. To produce the ultimate quality olive oil, we control the entire process, from manual harvesting according to old tradition to processing with our state-of-the-art mill. Having our mill on the farm allows us to immediately press the olives (within 6 hours), maintaining the integrity of the final product.
