Agrogarmo Inversiones Celebrate Successful Finish to Challenging Year
Spanish producer Agrogarmo Inversiones has won a Silver Award at the 2024 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition.
This award recognizes all the work and dedication that we put into the cultivation of our olive grove every day. We are proud to have one of the best extra virgin olive oils in the world.

Situated in Castilla-La Mancha, Spain's second-largest olive oil-producing region, the company earned the award for its Finca Los Remedios Coupage brand, an organic medium blend of Sikitita and Koroneiki olives.
"This award recognizes all the work and dedication that we put into the cultivation of our olive grove every day," said Julio Guzman, the company's marketing manager. "We are proud to have one of the best extra virgin olive oils in the world."
This year's recognition was particularly rewarding for the company, as it has had to adapt and overcome the challenges posed by central Spain's increasingly hot and dry climate.
"The biggest challenge we have encountered this year is, without a doubt, climate change," Guzman said. "There is no rain, and without water, there is no life, which means that our fruits barely have a pulp from which to extract the highly valued juice."
"The investment is very expensive; more and more kilograms of olives are needed to make 500 milliliters of extra virgin olive oil," he added.
