CHO Group earned two Gold Awards for a delicate Chemlali and organic medium blend, both bottled under the Terra Delyssa brand.
The company, which also produces olive oil in Morocco, earned three Silver Awards, including a medium blend bottled under the Moresh brand (produced in Morocco), and a delicate blend and an organic delicate blend bottled under the Terra Delyssa brand.
"Winning at the NYIOOC is a remarkable achievement for the entire team," said Salima Ben Jemia, the company's marketing manager.
"This award reflects the dedication and hard work of our workforce, showcasing their passion for quality," she added. "It inspires everyone to continue striving for excellence and highlights the incredible potential of Tunisian olive oil on the global stage."
Since 2020, the CHO Group has earned 15 awards at the World Competition. This year's haul was especially gratifying after a hot and dry year created plenty of challenges in Tunisia during the harvest.
"This harvest was challenging, but we managed to maintain good quality thanks to our Chemlali olive trees variety, which adapted to the semi-arid climate," Ben Jemia said. "While conditions posed difficulties for other producers, our sustainable approach and commitment to innovation allowed us to overcome these obstacles."
