We are very proud to have been given a Silver Award at this year's NYIOOC. We have a benchmark, and now we want to try and improve next year.

The Arizona-based producer earned the award at the world's largest olive oil quality contest for its Estate brand, a medium-intensity Arbosana.
"We are very proud to have been given a Silver Award at this year's NYIOOC," said president John Rea. "We have a benchmark, and now we want to try to improve next year."
In the 2023/24 crop year, Queen Creek Olive Mill produced 35,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil using mechanical methods.
"Deciding the right time to harvest to ensure the highest quality of extra virgin olive oil while keeping in mind the weather and how it could affect our harvest [was the biggest challenge we faced this year]," Rea said.
