Stonehouse Oil & Vinegar Wins Debut World Competition Awards
Stonehouse Oil & Vinegar from the United States has won two awards at the 2024 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition.
After 27 years in the business, we really don't submit anymore, but this was the first real harvest of the Taggiasca we planted in 2018. We felt this was a great oil, so we submitted it to see how it stacked up.

The California producer earned a Gold Award for a medium Taggiasca and a Silver Award for a medium Arbosana.
"It feels great," said owner Trish Baldwin. "After 27 years in the business, we really don't submit anymore, but this was the first real harvest of the Taggiasca we planted in 2018. We felt this was a great oil, so we submitted it to see how it stacked up. The Arbosana is always good, so we added that in to see how it would fare, so we're very happy."
Stonehouse Oil & Vinegar's awards cap off a successful mostly harvest for the Northern California producer.
"The weather was actually nearly perfect last year right up until the early frost in November. We lost some fruit from that, but before that, it was all good for a change," Baldwin said.
