L'Olio dei Papi

Our project sprouts from the love of the roots and the earth. The stories told by the ancestors of southern Latium reported that Popes consumed the oil of these lands, and we sponsored a historical study to verify the facts. The Popes loved our olive oil and developed an incentive plan to grow olives in the south of the Papal state. The "motu proprio" of Pius VI of April 21, 1778, was the drive to cultivate olive trees and enforce the quality of the olive oil produced.
