This EVOO is light and fruity, decidedly herbaceous, with hints of tomato, almond and artichoke. The oil is characterized by bitter and spicy notes of medium intensity and an aftertaste of tomato, almond and artichoke. The oil has a green color with yellow reflections and a medium fluency.
We have more than 220 acres of olive groves on the Piana di Lamezia Terme, included in the Protected Designation of Origin area Lametia.
Harvesting begins in October by mechanical means or by grazing, and the olives are immediately ground in our modern mill in order to keep the original unique qualities of the fruit intact. The EVOO that is obtained is a low-acid oil, rigorously cold extracted and is ideal for raw seasoning.
