Duccio is obtained by a mechanical cold press of the olives coming from our estate. Harvesting is performed by hand, using only the best-quality fruit, thereby ensuring that the olives remain fragrant. The oil has aromas of enchanting, fragrant herbs. It is straight and harmonious, with hints of almonds and artichoke. The oil also has vaguely spicy and bitter aromas, typical of olives harvested at the right maturation time.
Az. Agr. Artemide takes care of the maintenance of 1,916 olive trees - including Frantoio, Moraiolo, Leccino - and the production of our premium olive oil. We are located in the hills close to Siena, where our family has been producing wine and olive oil since 1939. The property, which contains 30 acres of olive groves, enjoys a breathtaking view of the Chianti hills and the renowned medieval city of Siena.
