Al Torcio Leccino

By Al Torcio

Our Leccino EVOO is presented by a nice golden color with delicate hints of green, slightly veiled. It reveals an intense and vegetal scent with elegant notes of freshly mowed grass and a marked aroma of healing herbs with strong overtones of mint and basil. The taste offers an ample and sharp flavor, complex and fine with the intense vegetal flavor of lettuce, chicory, artichoke and sweet almond at the close. Bitter and peppery notes at the end are very harmonious.

About Al Torcio

We cultivate about 1,800 olive trees in five different olive groves. To fertilize them we use a special self-produced fertilizer obtained from a fermented olive-mill pomace. All our oils are milled in our own olive mill, which is situated in one of the groves. Olives are picked exclusively by hand and milled within a few hours. We produce eight single cultivars: Leccino, Pendolino, Frantoio, Rosulja, Itrana, Ascolana, Bjelica, Moraiolo, and a mixture of our best olive oils, our Blend.
